The resource person said about the methods how to present in the Interview and on what should be in the resume. She gave excellent ideas to prepare for the Top MNCs. She shared her own experience and gave important tips for facing the placement drives.

 Ms.Lavanya Rohit Gandi, Director – Human Resources, Dextara Digital, Hydrabad, and 2012 Alumni discussed about BOOT CAMP-interview preparation for five days. Day 1 on 10.6.2021, was started with self-analysis of oneself, Day 2 on 17.6.2021, was dealt with resume building. Day 3 on 24.06.2021 as a Placement Initiative for our students, how to improve their communication skills, Day 4 on 1.7.2021, was dealt with Interview preparation Students learned how to channelize their thoughts before communicating using the ‘ONE MINUTE RULE’! Day 5 session on 8.7.2021 was about how to have a backup plan, the importance of understanding the situation and taking calculated risks with a  plan B on hand.

Mr.D.Rakesh,MS-Electronic & Computer Engineering, Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland, conducted  One day WORKSHOP on 21.05.2021 in the topic Mobile App Development, for School/polytechnic students The resource person handled the session with MIT App Inventor. The workshop started with introduction to Mobile App features and its uses in current trends. The Resource Person also given hands on experience in MIT App Inventor platform.

Ms. Monisha Bhavassar – Development engineer (Powertrain Plant Engineer) – Ford India private limited, 2015 Alumni discussed about an opportunity to understand the technology expertise requirements of our ElE students and upgrade them in better version. The session was an initiative and practice session for the students attending EMBEDUR, KAAR Technologies interview and it was an emulation of job interview in core areas.

Ms S Shri Vidhya of 2018 batch EIE alumni has addressed the students on “ Instrumentation and its opportunities” why the instrumentation engineering should be a preferable branch of study. She briefed about what are the industrial scope and higher studies scope available for Instrumentation Engineers and how well she enjoyed studying EIE in Easwari Engineering College also what are the opportunities and exposure they can get.

The department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering organized an Polytechnic Outreach Program  in for P.T.Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker Polytechnic College, Vepery, Chennai on 25.02.2021. The scope and importance of Instrumentation   Engineering   in Industry  were clearly explained by our Alumni Mrs.S.Sadhana ,Syatem Engineer , TATA Consultancy services. The difference between EIE dept curriculum with Other department curriculum elaborated by Ms. J.Reshma, System Engineer, Nokia Solutions Pvt Ltd. Our department Lateral Entry student Mr.Sainaveen.V , YRC Designer shared his views about research facilities, Lab facilities, Project contest participation,  activity through various club like YRC, Rotaract in lateral entry student perspective. The polytechnic students were enthusiastically interacted with Our Final year student Mr.Rahul Bharadwaj . Finally Mrs. T. Kalaiselvi ,AP/EIE explained about the achievements, placement opportunities of Instrumentation Engineering in Easwari Engineering college. Overall this program created awareness about Instrumentation Department among the polytechnic students.

The department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering of Easwari Engineering College under the banner of ISA organized a webinar on Job Roles in Automotive  Industries by  Mr.Ashwin Dev(2015 batch  Alumni) Senior Engineer Product Development ,Ford Chennai  at 2.00 PM on 30.01.2021.In the detailed presentation, he explained the skills required  for an Instrumentation Engineer  to work in  the fields of  Design, Development, Process  ,Quality and logistics in Automotive Industries. He also focused on major job roles in Engineering Industry and types of companies in the Automotive field.

The Department of Electronics and instrumentation conducted a webinar on                       “OPPORTUNITIES IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT FOR ENGINEERS “for III year and IV students by Mr.Mahesh Ganesan, E-Sourcing Lead, Al-Fauttiam,Dubai, UAE,  on 29.01.2021. The topics covered with SAP, role of instrumentation Engineers in supply chain management, six sigma lean certification.The session was very interactive and informative. 101 students attended this session and got benefitted. Various overseas opportunities also discussed in this session. On the whole the session was very useful and gave the students a good insight into the current trending technologies in the field of supply chain industry.

The department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering had organized a webinar on ‘Instrumentation and its Opportunities’ for school students by our Alumni Students (2018 and 2019 Batch) on 03.08.2020(5:30pm). Ms.S.ShriVidya, M.E, Instrumentation Anna University, MIT Campus. Ms.S.Sadhana, System Engineer (Core Appl. Developer)Tata Consultancy Services. Students could get insights on further study options and suitable carrier pathway in instrumentation-related industries. The detailed presentation and ideas to shape the career for students after their Higher Secondary Education were provided.

The department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering of Easwari Engineering College   organized *MOCK INTERVIEW*  for third year students on 5th September 2020 evening. *Resource Person* Mr. Philip Samuel, ALUMINI OF EEC – EIE Department (2011 Batch) Technology Lead. The program provided an opportunity to understand the technology expertise requirements of our EIE students and upgrade them better being in pre-final year. The MOC interview was  an eye opener for students knowing about interview process. The conversational session resembled a real interview and helped our students to improve their self-presentations. The students’ performance was evaluated based on their resume preparation, the way they presented, their communication and on how their confidence level is. The well-organized mock interview provided all the interviewees with information about how to handle an upcoming job interview.

The department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering of Easwari Engineering College organized WEBINAR on DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION AND BEING CHANGE AND LEARNING AGILE for second and third year students on 13th& 14th October, 2020 Resource Person Ms.Snigdha Ganesh (Alumni 2013) Wire card processing FZ LLC Business process manager, Dubai, UAE. The webinar helped the students of EIE gain knowledge on how to handle an idea and how to execute them with regards to the current marketing situation. The speaker gave a clear explanation about how to handle people in terms of convincing them to buy the product and how to bring it to the market. The fact that Innovation is required more for survival in the respective field was clearly understood by the students during the session.
