Video Contest on How Machine Works

How Machine Works, This event was conducted by the student’s society of Electronics and Instrumentation Department on 09/01/2020 at the research. The participants were instructed to bring the working video clips of the devices which they are about explained. The clip was muted and a participant was made to explain its working in detail. The participants prepared interesting topics such as how Bluetooth works, difference between OLED and QLED, Air Conditioner, Soli gesture sensor, NFC, Ultrasonic portable Nebulizer  and much more. The students were judged based on their knowledge about the latest or existing machine which they are explaining, confidence of the participant during the whole session and ability to answer the viva questions asked by the judge.  As per as our HOD’s guidance we would like to further expand the number of participants by presenting this contest in classroom premises.

The Swachh Bharat Program

The Swachh Bharat event was conducted by the student society of the department of electronics and instrumentation engineering on February 12 th 2020. The main motive of the event was to inculcate the importance of cleanliness to the students. Cleanliness is most important for physical well-being and a healthy environment. It has bearing on public and personal hygiene. It is essential for everyone to learn about cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation and the various diseases that are caused due to poor hygienic conditions. The habits learnt at a young age get embedded into one’s personality. Even if we inculcate certain habits like washing hands before meals, regular brushing of teeth, and bathing from a young age, we are not bothered about cleanliness of public places. Hence the main objective of the event is to make students realise that cleanliness in public place is equally important as personal cleanliness .Cleanliness is moreover important to ensure amicable coexistence between all living creatures. The participants were split into batches of 6 members in each team. The requirements for cleaning were provided by the department. Each team was allotted specific venues like classrooms, labs etc. . The event was more encouraged by the students through their active participation.

Further details about the batches and their venues are listed below:
